Released August 2026
TL;DR
The Sculpfun G20 is a 20W 1064 nm fiber galvo on an open stand, launched in August 2026. It marks and engraves stainless, aluminium, brass, gold and titanium over a 150 × 150 mm field, with a motorized Z column, dual red-dot focusing and Wi-Fi. Sculpfun claims 10,000 mm/s, a 0.01 mm spot, engraving up to 1.5 mm deep and colour marking on stainless and titanium. No independent review yet; the open frame means you handle 1064 nm safety yourself.
Best for
What makes this machine stand out
Hardware and workflow features worth understanding before you buy : not just wattage on a label.
Motorized focus at an entry price
An electric Z column with dual red-dot alignment replaces the hand crank found on most fiber markers in this price range.
150 × 150 mm field
Wider than the usual 110 × 110 mm lens, and the optional slide kit stretches it to 350 × 150 mm for long plates.
Colour marking claimed
Sculpfun rates the G20 for more than 30 colours on stainless steel and titanium through its 30–60 kHz frequency range.
Our verdict
Ideal if you
The G20 brings a 20W fiber galvo with motorized focusing and a 150 × 150 mm field to $1,499, close to the cheapest 20W markers but with a larger field and Wi-Fi. It fits sellers who personalise tags, jewellery, knives and metal cards, and the slide extension and rotary cover longer plates and rings.
Skip if you
It is a marker, not a cutter: wood, leather and acrylic are better served by a diode or CO₂. The stand is open, so safety is on you, and the colour, depth and speed figures are Sculpfun's until independent tests appear.
Pros
- Full 20W fiber galvo with motorized Z and dual red-dot focusing for $1,499
- 150 × 150 mm field, wider than the 110 × 110 mm lens on most entry fiber markers
- Accepts the G9 SE slide extension (350 × 150 mm) and the RA Pro Max rotary for rings and tumblers
Cons
- Open stand: no enclosure in the box, and 1064 nm light needs proper OD-rated glasses
- Colour marking relies on a 30–60 kHz frequency range, not a MOPA source: expect a narrower palette
- Launched August 2026: speed, depth and colour claims are not yet confirmed by an independent review

Practical notes
Beginner notes
Fiber galvos mark metal: they do not cut wood or acrylic, and they handle organic materials poorly compared with a diode. If you mainly sell wood or leather goods, a diode machine is a better first laser. If your orders are tags, jewellery, tools or metal cards, the G20 is one of the cheapest complete 20W fiber setups with motorized focus.
Pro tips
Set focus with the dual red dots before each job, then run a small parameter grid on scrap: colour on stainless depends on frequency, speed and line spacing together. For deep engraving, use many fast passes rather than one slow one. Budget for the G-series enclosure or a dedicated room, and buy glasses rated for 1064 nm.

Common questions
Can the Sculpfun G20 do colour marking like a MOPA laser?
Sculpfun says yes on stainless steel and titanium, with more than 30 colours, using an adjustable 30–60 kHz frequency. It is not sold as a MOPA source, which also varies pulse width: expect fewer, less repeatable colours than on a MOPA machine and plan on test grids before taking colour orders.
Does the G20 need an enclosure?
It ships as an open stand with one pair of goggles and two security keys. Sculpfun sells an optional enclosure designed for the G series. Without it, keep the machine in a closed room and wear glasses rated for 1064 nm: fiber light is invisible and reflects off metal.
Is the G20 a good alternative to the ComMarker B4 20W?
On paper, yes: same 20W class, a larger 150 × 150 mm field and motorized Z for $1,499 on Sculpfun's store (October 2026). The B4 has years of user settings and reviews behind it; the G20 launched in August 2026, so its claims still need independent confirmation.

ComMarker · Fiber · $1,399 – $1,632
The ComMarker B4 is a popular entry-level fiber galvo engraver for jewelry, tools, and metal gifts. Marks stainless, aluminum, and brass without spray. Small marking field: not a cutter for wood or acrylic.

Atomstack · Fiber · $889
AtomStack A20 Pro 1064nm is a fiber marking variant for metal engraving without a separate galvo bench. Different machine class than diode A20 Pro V2: buy for metal marking, not wood cutting.
