What can the Nano 6W cut?
Longer gives a 6 mm wood cutting depth. The Nano is a galvo machine, so cuts are built from many fast passes: in our benchmarks a 10 × 10 cm square in 3 mm basswood takes about 9–15 min. Paper, card and fabric are easy; treat thicker wood as a slow, multi-pass job.
How big can a design be on the Nano 6W?
Longer lists a 100 × 100 mm working field, extendable to 100 × 300 mm with the slide extension. That suits tags, jewellery boxes, phone cases and leather patches, not signs or panels.
Nano 6W or Nano Pro 12W?
On Longer's store in October 2026 the basic sets were $399.99 (6W) and $559.99 (Pro 12W). For $160 more, the Pro adds a second diode and an F-theta field lens, with a 0.01 mm precision claim against 0.05 mm and a 10 mm cutting depth against 6 mm. The 6W is enough for small engraving work.
