TL;DR

The UV Pro 10W is the faster tier of Monport's 3D inner-engraving UV galvo, listed in September 2026: 355 nm, 15,000 mm/s, 30–200 kHz, the same 70 × 70 mm 3D lens (Monport lists a 150 × 150 mm processing area), an electric Z lift and a water chiller in the package. $4,990 on Monport's store in October 2026, on pre-order with shipping in early November. Manual focus, no camera; no independent review yet.

What makes this machine stand out

Hardware and workflow features worth understanding before you buy : not just wattage on a label.

  • 15,000 mm/s galvo

The fastest scanning speed of the UV Pro line, which shortens dense 3D crystal jobs and batch marking.

  • Complete 3D package

Chiller, 70 × 70 mm 3D lens, electric Z lift, foot pedal and a K9 crystal block come in the box; only LightBurn is extra.

Our verdict

Ideal if you

The 10W tier makes sense for shops whose revenue depends on 3D crystals or UV marking volume: faster scanning and a complete package with chiller and 3D lens.

Skip if you

It is a pre-order until November 2026, has manual focus and no camera, and needs strict eye protection around the open UV beam. SapphireMark is Windows-only and no independent review exists yet.

Pros

  • Fastest UV Pro: 15,000 mm/s and 30–200 kHz, for denser 3D crystals and shorter batches
  • Water chiller, 3D lens and K9 test block included at $4,990 (Monport, Oct 2026)
  • 355 nm cold marking on glass, plastics and heat-sensitive parts

Cons

  • Pre-order: shipping in early November 2026
  • Manual focus, no camera, and an open Class 4 UV beam
  • About $1,800 more than the entry tier for the same field and features

Practical notes

Beginner notes

This profile is the 10W tier of the UV Pro. Pick it if 3D crystals or UV marking are a daily production job; for occasional gifts, compare the entry tier via the chips.

Pro tips

Batch crystals with the positioning bars to keep placement repeatable. Keep the chiller and room temperature stable during long 3D jobs. Buy K9 blocks from a reliable supplier: inclusions and bubbles show up in the engraving.

Common questions

Is the UV Pro 10W available now?

Not yet: in October 2026 Monport listed it at $4,990 ($5,190 with LightBurn) with shipping in early November. The 6W tier was available immediately.

What does the 10W add over the 6W?

Speed and headroom: 15,000 mm/s against 10,000 mm/s, a 30–200 kHz frequency range against 10–150 kHz, and more power for dense point clouds in 3D crystals and faster marking. Field, lens, software and accessories are the same. The 10W weighs 21.5 kg against 16.5 kg.

Can the UV Pro replace a fiber laser?

No. UV marks glass, crystal, plastics and many coatings cleanly and can mark metal surfaces, but it does not engrave metal deeply. For deep metal work, look at a fiber laser such as Monport's GPro Vision.

ComMarker Omni X UV laser engraver by ComMarker

ComMarker · UV · $3,599 – $7,059

ComMarker Omni X uses UV wavelength for cold marking on glass, some plastics, and delicate materials without as much heat damage as fiber or CO₂. Slower than fiber on metal: different tool for different materials.

ComMarker Omni XE UV laser engraver by ComMarker

ComMarker · UV · $3,299 – $6,789

Omni XE sits between Omni 1 and Omni X in ComMarker's UV lineup: check current specs for bed size and power. UV remains specialized: glass, plastics, fine detail.

Creality Falcon T1 5W UV laser engraver by Creality

Creality · UV · $3,999

The 5W UV WaveSync module targets materials diode and fiber struggle with: glass, some films, and heat-sensitive plastics. Install on the same Falcon T1 enclosure when your shop adds UV jobs after wood or metal modules.
