TL;DR
Ortur Laser Master H10 20W is the 20W SKU on the Ortur ortur laser master h10 line. The H10 is Ortur's step up from the open-frame LM3 line: a more integrated chassis with up to 20W diode power and higher advertised traverse speeds. Verify optical power on the listing: do not assume combined-watt marketing.
Best for
What makes this machine stand out
Hardware and workflow features worth understanding before you buy : not just wattage on a label.
Air pump in the box
Ortur bundles a free air pump with the 20W H10, so clean cuts do not need an extra purchase.
8 mm in one pass
Ortur demonstrates 8 mm plywood and 8 mm black acrylic cut in a single pass with the LU3-20B module.
Long module life
Ortur rates the LU3-20B module for more than 10,000 hours of use.
Our verdict
Ideal if you
Ortur Laser Master H10 20W is the versatile hobby / side-business SKU: clean engraving and light wood or leather cuts with comparable benchmarks on Maker Atlas.
Skip if you
Open-frame: glasses and exhaust required. Ortur offers no 40W module for the H10: if cutting takes over, look at its 40W machines (LM3, F10, H20). Not a CO₂ replacement for clear acrylic or heavy thick-stock production.
Pros
- Free air pump with this module on Ortur's store
- Ortur demonstrates 8 mm plywood and 8 mm black acrylic cut in one pass
- Module rated by Ortur for more than 10,000 hours
Cons
- Larger 0.1 × 0.12 mm focal spot (Ortur figure): fine photos look softer than with the lower-power module
- Fills at ~22–49 mm/s in our tests: a 10 × 10 cm photo still takes ~18–28 min
- Real 8 mm cuts need slow speeds, a clean lens and a working air pump

Pro tips
Use air assist for cuts, lower scan speed for photo engraving. Multiple passes at moderate speed beat one aggressive pass. Check the flagship tier’s cut benchmark if you quote production times to customers.

Common questions
What does the H10 20W cut in one pass?
Ortur's page shows one-pass demo cuts in 12 mm pine, 8 mm plywood and 8 mm black acrylic with the LU3-20B module; these are demos, not guaranteed maxima. In our benchmarks a 10 × 10 cm square in 3 mm basswood takes about 9–15 min, and basswood up to about 8 mm is realistic in passes.
Does the H10 20W include air assist?
Yes, Ortur sells the 20W version with a free air pump. In October 2026 the basic set was $549.99–649.99 depending on the listing, $589.98–679.98 with the ORP1.0 raiser and $659.98–729.98 with the LEP1.0 bundle.
H10 20W or 40W?
Ortur's H10 page lists only 10W and 20W modules, and its compatibility list does not include the separate LU3-40A 40W module. The 20W is the configuration Ortur officially supports on the H10; choose a 40W listing only if the seller confirms compatibility.

Ortur · Diode · $140 – $1,740
The 20W LM3 is the configuration most buyers mean when they say 'Laser Master 3'. Strong engraving, light cutting, huge community: verify you are not accidentally ordering the 10W SKU.

Sculpfun · Diode · $690
The 22W is the middle of Sculpfun's three S30 Ultra heads (11W, 22W, 33W), often sold bundled with LightBurn. The 33W head goes further for thick cuts. Listings that say S30 Ultra 10W or 20W are reseller labels.
