The F2 Ultra moves from a 20W fiber to a 60W MOPA, which adds color marking, deeper engraving and thin-metal cutting, plus a larger 220 × 220 mm area and dual cameras. If you only do simple black marks on metal, a discounted F1 Ultra still does the job for much less.
Can the F2 Ultra cut metal?
Only thin sheet: xTool shows brass and stainless steel cut-outs with the 60W MOPA. Thicker metal needs an industrial fiber cutter.
